At Quanser, we have used our over 30 years of experience in the design and development of innovative mechatronic systems for the academic market to pioneer a new approach to mechatronics education. Starting with a definition of modern mechatronics, this presentation will present a detailed approach to the goals, activities, and delivery of modern mechatronics lab activities. We will then position these experiences in relation to the complementary fields of robotics and autonomous systems before providing existing implementation examples and plans for future solutions.
