Earlier this year, GEDC corporate partners – Siemens Digital Industries Software – launched the Siemens Skills for Sustainability Network. This new initiative, designed for engaged faculty worldwide, provides the opportunity to get insights, share ideas and feedback, and exchange good practice with peers in academia and across industry on embedding sustainability in engineering education.
Jennifer Bradford, Business Strategy Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software and GEDC Executive Committee member explains more…
“This program will support the Siemens Global Academic Partner Program by opening deep channels of communication with the educators that we serve as well as the commercial enterprises who ultimately hire the students trained by these educators – Siemens commercial customers, to ensure that future-facing skills are on
the learning agenda.”
Learn more about the recent dialogues that took place on ‘Sustainability skills & mindset: adapting engineering education to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’ and how you or relevant faculty members at your institution might benefit from getting involved here.
Join the Network to gain access to the many useful reports, resources and case studies shared by members as well as by Siemens, along with the opportunity to get involved in the next series of dialogues coming up in October.
