A man’s dream in uplifting rural into an educational hub offering quality education has come true now. Theivathiru Lion Dr. K.S.Rangasamy MJF Founder-Chairman had hailed from rural background. Eventually, with an intension to inspire and to fulfil the educational needs of the rural youth, he started a polytechnic college in 1984, followed by three engineering colleges, two polytechnics, two arts and science colleges, a dental college, education college, industrial training institute, management studies and three schools. Recently K.S.Rangasamy College of Nursing, K.S.Rangasamy College of Allied Health Sciences and K.S.Rangasamy College of Pharmacy are added to the KSREI fold. Currently, K.S.R. Educational Institutions (KSREI) is a township for multi-faceted and diversified education.
Shri.R.Srinivasan, the second son of Theivathiru Lion Dr.K.S.Rangasamy and Smt.Rajammal Rangasamy has assumed the charge as the Chairman of KSREI. He was born on March 19, 1972. He is a graduate in Business Management. He is a shareholder in KSR Textiles Mills Pvt Ltd, Tiruchengode and Gokulam Super Specialty Hospital in Salem.
Shri.R.Srinivasan is the architect of all these institutions and controls directly the infrastructure development of all institutions. He gives special attention to provide state-of-art facilities and good ambience for the learners and teachers. He has widely travelled across the world and visits world class Universities with an aim to bring KSREI to be of niche institutions offering quality education. The institutions have signed MoUs with various research entities & universities. “Through these collaborations, students get access to advanced learning, industrial exposure, and training on employability skills, internships and projects. In addition to that, students are able to update their knowledge on the latest innovations and technologies to become industry savvy” said Shri.R.Srinivasan on the need of training sectors. His Mission is to transfer the entire K.S.R Educational Institutions into a world class university that transcends the national boundary.
Under his able leadership various Centres of Excellences like Virtusa, Aspire Systems, Automation Anywhere, HiTech, RITS, Paloalto, Ui Path, Maximal and Celonis are established in the campus. He is the brain behind in establishing KSREI Incubation Centre, AICTE’s Idea Lab and Atal Community Innovation Centre.
Shri.R.Srinivasan has an irresistible passion for sports and provided wide-ranging infrastructure which includes, a modern indoor stadium of international standard with flood light facilities, electronic gym facilities, open gyms, swimming pool, and sprawling playgrounds for indoor and outdoor games are available. In order to identify and coach the ambitious youngsters to glitter in the field of sports in around the villages a Sports Academy is established and is running fruitfully. He is the former Vice-President of Namakkal District Amateur Kabadi Club and Namakkal District Athletic Association.
In recognition of his involvement and services to education as an education provider, the Times Group awarded the most coveted Edupreneur Award. He has conferred with Asia’s Best Fastest Growing Education Institute Award was received from WCRC leaders in Thailand. The Times of India honoured KSREI with EduIcons – the pioneers of education in Tamil Nadu. KSREI have made a mark in the education, not just in the country but also globally. Media rating about the institutions are high at every point of time. Infrastructure has been created with the kind of ambience necessarily required for the present generation of youth.
Shri.Srinivasan is keen on providing all facilities inside KSREI campus. Library houses lakhs of volumes of books, National and International journals including e-books and e-journals. The campus is filled with ample amenities like bank, ATM, post office, food courts, hostels, departmental store, internet kiosks at strategic points inside the premises. KSR FM Radio @90.4 Hz is addressing the local information and knowledge dissemination to the local community. A fleet of 200 buses plying around 60km radius at free of cost.
