Associate professor Elrayah is an experienced associate professor in petroleum drilling engineering with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Ph.D. Researcher candidate in the field of strategy and international relations. Elrayah is appointed as an associate professor in the petroleum engineering program at the Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) and the Strategic Administration Program at the Omdurman Islamic University (OIU) (currently located at Khartoum, Sudan). He is a member of the drilling engineering experiment station for oil and gas and the head of the drilling research cluster at SUST. At the same time, he is a member of the strategy and international relation studies and research center at OIU. Elrayah has extensive research and teaching experience in different countries around the world, including his previous position as a lecturer at Universiti Teknolgi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. Elrayah research activities focus on advanced drilling engineering and technology for oil and natural gas, value-added addition and strategy administration, and project management activities. He has established several unique global research collaboration models between academia and industry. He holds numerous patents and scholarly scientific publications in the form of peer-reviewed journals, conference papers, technical industry reports, invited talks, and conference presentations. Associate professor Elrayah applies leading technology and focuses on cost management, providing a meaningful contribution to the acquired knowledge and skills, securing consultancy, development acreage and program evaluation. Elrayah leads projects and managing projects, consulting, managing, administrative, supervising, teaching, training, and coaching with careful assessment and follow-up development opportunities using strict standards, criteria, systematic and disciplined approach. Associate professor Elrayah has been elected as a fellow of the Sudanese Engineering Society and a full consultant engineer at Sudan Engineering Council since 2018.
