R.M. Kishore is the Vice Chairman of the R.M.K. Group of Institutions in Chennai, where he has played a key role in establishing and developing the infrastructure for three engineering colleges, a polytechnic college, an international residential school, and CBSE and matriculation schools. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and an MBA from the University of Huddersfield, U.K. Under his leadership, R.M.K. Engineering and R.M.D. Engineering Colleges have achieved significant milestones, including high placement rates and academic performance, with both institutions securing top ranks at Anna University. His efforts also led to NBA accreditation for all eligible courses at both colleges.

Kishore has chaired numerous national and international conferences, such as the Smart India Hackathon 2018, and has been actively involved in industry and community service. He serves as the Director of Kranium Software Technology and other family-owned businesses, while also organizing social outreach programs through the R.M.K. institutions. He is a member of prestigious organizations like the Indian Society for Technical Education and the Global Engineering Deans Council, and has been a member of the Syndicate at Anna University since 2020.
