Sustainable Infrastructure: Putting Principles into Practice

May 12, 2021

8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. U.S. ET

You are invited to the inaugural webinar event  of the new series, Sustainable Infrastructure: Putting Principles into Practice hosted by the Sustainable Infrastructure Community of Learners. This webinar will be the kickoff event for a series of 10 sessions, each focusing on one of the newly released UNEP Sustainable Infrastructure Principles. This inaugural session will provide an overview of the 10 sustainable infrastructure principles of good practice, introduce learners to the structure of this case-study based learning series, and include short presentations from end-users about the need for and benefit of knowledge sharing and case-based learning.

Each subsequent webinar in the series, held on the second Wednesday of every month, will focus one of the 10 Sustainable Infrastructure Principles. The webinars will include short technical presentations related to that month’s focal principle followed by interactive discussion that puts that principle into practice through presentation and problem solving for case infrastructure projects.

Hosted by: Sustainable Infrastructure Partnership, Duke University Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, the Green Gray Community of Practice, UN Environment Programme, Conservation International, ITTECOP, and Project ECHO
