Mrs. Mai Hamed is a lecturer at the department of structural engineering school of civil engineering at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST). She has started her PhD study at SUST in civil engineering before one year. Her title is: Prediction of damage behavior of fiber reinforced concrete slabs subjected to Blast Loads. The methodology she is following is mainly based on carrying out Blast Load tests on not less than 8 Reinforced concrete slab specimens of dimensions 1000 mm * 10000 mm and 200mm thickness. The specimens are to be with two steel ratios 91% and 2%) and three variable fiber ratios of 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5%.
Due to the limitation of advanced equipment for these experiments in Sudan; she may need to spent about 6 months in a university has the needed equipment ((Please see the attached file for more details). Any chance for Mrs. Mai in your university as full or partial scholarship?
