The Iranian Society of Engineering Education (ISEE) (isee.ir) is organizing a bi-annual conference series on engineering education. The 7th Iran International Conference on Engineering Education (issec.ir) will be held on 25-28 October 2021 at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
Iran’s International Conferences on Engineering Education present opportunities for both researchers and practitioners of engineering education to exchange viewpoints and experiences in the field of engineering education. The central mission of these meetings is to examine the challenges of engineering education in Iran and provide solutions to them. The main subject of the 7th conference is the “past, present and future of engineering education in Iran”. To provide answers to the future challenges of engineering education and improve the quality of engineers in an ever-changing world, a realistic assessment of the present situation is needed. That can be obtained by studying and observing the changes in engineering education practices, policies, and theories in the past decades. We aim at providing opportunities for the industries, policymakers, and universities to express their ideas and insights on engineering education to boost the progress towards a higher quality.
