Announcing the Launch of eWomenTor – Increasing the Representativeness of Women in Africa

eWoMenTor is the mentoring initiative implemented by the NGO Digital Coalition. It is the “phygital”, physical and digital version of WoMenTor (launched in 2017): mentoring of diversity. It is based on an online platform: the WoMenTor Academy.

It is an appropriate response to the under-representation of women in the main economic sectors. It offers an entrepreneurial passport to professional women, managers and business leaders to make them the leaders and unicorns of the African continent. The program, which runs over 9-month cycles, offers tailored coaching to professional women, managers and business leaders who represent the future leaders and unicorns of the African continent. It places a particular emphasis on the necessary financial and digital skills to succeed in the business world of the 21st century. The main objective is to increase the representativeness of women in all economic sectors and to create the next generation of African female leaders.

The launch of this pan-African program will take place on June 23, 2021. By 2030, 500,000 women will be trained by mentors from different countries around the world. The aim is to promote cooperation and create an international network of African female leaders.

eWoMenTor is sponsored by Her Excellency Ms. Liliane MASSALA, Ambassador of Gabon in France. It is supported by a Steering Committee made up of African and international figures.

The program is designed for African women and girls with the contribution of the whole World
