In the height of Covid-19 Pandemic, the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP-SG) in Singapore started its Virtual Internship Program last July 2020. The program aims to provide an international industry virtual experience to the computer engineering students of our partner Higher Education Institutions in the Philippines. The Virtual Internship Program last for six intensive week outcome based training with corresponding credit hours per outcomes. The trainer provides an industry real-life experience in the field of Technology Development, Systems Design, Technopreneurship, Project Management, and other topics in the area of specialization of the mentors.
Also this internship program is in response to the current difficulties of every student’s who supposed to have their internship with various Technology Companies in the Philippines but due to lockdowns they were not allowed leave their homes of the fear of getting infected by the covid-19 virus. With the help of our dedicated Industry mentors and volunteers, were able complete two batches of Virtual Internships namely from Saint Peters College in Mindanao and Technological Institute of the Philippines in Manila. Currently, we are on our 3rd batch from Bulacan State University.
We are looking forward to serve a greater community of computer engineering and allied students who may benefit from this program.
