International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) iioe.ichei.org was launched by UNESCO-ICHEI together with 11 leading universities in Africa and Asia Pacific as well as some ICT & educational enterprises in April 2020. The main mission of IIOE is to provide capacity building programmes for higher education teachers in Africa and Asia-Pacific, especially on ICT related competencies, as well as provide ICT related online courses. Under the Covid-19 pandemic, IIOE had provided 10 Covid-19 Response Training Series (English and French) to HEIs in Africa and Asia Pacific which were highly participated by HE teachers all over the world.
