Preserving Myanmar Higher Education

Formation of IPEM Employment Qualification Board by The Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar which is taking part in Spring Revolution of Myanmar. The Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar (IPEM) which is a member of International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) is taking part in Spring Revolution in Myanmar to remove Myanmar Military Junta and to establish Federal Union that will give equal rights for all ethnic nationals in Myanmar as well as to establish the Federal Education System in Myanmar. IPEM NSW Australia Chapter is registered with NSW Government of Australia. When Myanmar military junta made a military coup, most students and university academics were taking parts in CDM (Civil Dis obedience Movement). The schools, colleges and universities were closed. Ministry of Education of National Unity Government of Myanmar organized the Education Committees to administer the education in Myanmar. As National Unity Government of Myanmar (NUG) itself has not fully achieved the recognized Government status, it has been operating as more than Non Government Organization (NGO) or de facto status. The military tried to re-establish Myanmar education to go back to normal operation but lack of majority of people support, 75% of students and teachers are not supporting them has caused disarray in Myanmar Education.
