WFEO Announces World Engineering Day 24HRS LIVE

World Engineering Day is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated launch of World Engineering Day 24HRS LIVE. This is the first ever 24HRS LIVE broadcast of a Global UNESCO Day. The event is hosted by the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) and its members and partners.
The 24HRS LIVE event will be delivered via a “news studio streaming hub”. A high value production, TV-style program, will be streamed directly to the World Engineering Day homepage. World Engineering Day events that are registered on the website will be selected to feature on the World Engineering Day 24HRS LIVE event, depending on the willingness of the event hosts to participate.

This studio produced broadcast will follow World Engineering Day 2022 around the globe, to see how Engineer’s across the world are celebrating and being recognised for their great work. Starting on 4 March 2022 (in Australia), WFEO will connect with selected locations in a number of regions as they celebrate engineers and World Engineering Day. As the sun moves around the globe, celebrations will be featured as they come online. A number of recorded events and presentations and messages will also be featured. The broadcast will have high level speakers, panel discussions and guests all talking about engineering and focusing on the theme for World Engineering Day 2022.

The broadcast will also feature interviews with leaders from UNESCO, WFEO and its members, affiliates, associates, sponsors and partners as well as leaders from engineering companies, universities academies and other organisations around the world.

This will also be an opportunity for thought leadership, especially from young engineers. The winners of the international World Engineering Day Hackathon will also be featured.

The aim of the 24HRS FEATURED EVENTS live is to show the world how they want to celebrate engineer’s work towards sustainable development.
These can be as creative or traditional as each region desires.
