Dr. Divya Nalla is the Director of Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. Prior to this, she worked as the Principal of the same college for 8 years. She has done her masters in Mathematics from Osmania University, and Phd in Computer Science from University of Hyderabad.

She was presented with Institutional Leadership award by Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE). She is also the recipient of Women in Education Award presented under Dewang Mehta National Education Awards by IPE.

Her research specialisation is Cryptography & Information Security. She presented papers on Engineering education in international conferences on Education, and also served as reviewer and chaired sessions on these conferences.

She has steered the college for an international collaborations and obtained funding from the European Union.

Outcome based education through faculty training and designing of teaching learning processes has been successfully implemented by her in the institute. Taking Engineering Education Research to implementation in the classroom, and experimenting with methods to improve quality in engineering education are the areas she is working on currently.
